Artisans

The brilliance belongs to the makers.

A house worthy of Panu Di Pinti must honor the people who sustain it.

Behind the textile are skilled hands, knowledge, patience, and intention. N’nanba exists to bring greater attention to that work and help create opportunities for the artisans carrying this tradition forward.

Our sourcing commitment begins in Guinea-Bissau, with Bissau-Guinean artisans.

As we develop our collections, we are building relationships that connect the finished piece to the people and place behind it. We want you to understand whose work you are welcoming into your lives.

Recognition, with care.

Artisan names, portraits, and accounts of the making will be shared with permission and attribution.

As these stories become available, this page will introduce makers through their own words: how they learned, what the work means to them, and what they want future generations to know.

Opportunity that carries forward.

Our ambition is for N’nanba’s growth to support skilled work, business development, and lasting recognition for Panu Di Pinti and its makers.

That responsibility begins with listening, and continues through how we source, design, document, and share.
